StayBix is a room discovery and booking facilitation platform owned and operated by RS Techno Studios.
We respect user privacy and are committed to protecting personal data and KYC-related information in accordance with applicable Indian laws and industry-standard security practices.

- KYC data for identity verification (e.g. Aadhaar documents and live selfie)

- Property owners cannot access or view user KYC documents.

5. Sharing of User Information
StayBix does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize user data.

- With property owners after a booking request is submitted
- Initially, only limited details (such as user name) are shared
- Email address and mobile number remain masked until successful check-in
- Full contact details may be shared only after booking approval and QR-based check-in
- With government or legal authorities when required by law
6. Payments & Financial Information
- StayBix follows a strict Pay at Visit model.
- StayBix does not collect rent or process online payments.
- All payments occur directly between users and property owners.
- StayBix does not store bank account, card, or payment instrument details.
7. Cashback & UPI Information
For eligible cashback rewards, users may voluntarily provide a UPI ID.
- UPI ID is used only for cashback credit purposes.
- No bank account or card information is collected.
- Cashback is processed only after KYC verification and successful QR check-in.
8. Cookies & Session Data
- Cookies are used only for essential platform functionality.
- Used for login sessions, security, and “Remember Me” features.
- Cookies may be stored for up to 30 days.
- No advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies are used.
9. Emails & Communication
StayBix may send emails or notifications related to:
- Account creation and verification
- Login alerts, OTPs, and security notifications
- Booking updates and check-in information

StayBix does not send promotional or advertising emails.

While industry-standard security practices are followed, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
11. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while the account remains active.
- After account deletion, KYC data may be retained for up to 6 months.
- Retention is strictly for legal, audit, or regulatory requirements.
- Data is securely deleted after the retention period.
