Legal text
1. Introduction
StayBix is a room discovery and booking facilitation platform owned and operated by RS Techno Studios.
StayBix acts solely as a technology intermediary connecting users and property owners. StayBix does not own, manage, lease, or operate any listed property.
By creating an account or using the StayBix platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- Users must be at least 18 years of age.
- Users must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information.
- Multiple accounts are not permitted without explicit approval.
3. KYC (Know Your Customer) Verification
KYC verification may be required to ensure platform safety, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
KYC verification may include:
- Government-issued identity document (e.g. Aadhaar – front & back)
- Live selfie verification
- Digital consent confirmation
KYC data is collected only for verification purposes and is securely encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
Providing fake, forged, or misleading KYC information may result in immediate suspension or permanent account termination.
4. Booking Process
- Users may submit booking requests for listed rooms.
- Booking requests are forwarded to the property owner.
- Property owners have up to 24 hours to accept or reject a request.
- Unanswered requests may be automatically cancelled.
- StayBix does not guarantee booking acceptance.
5. Booking Approval & Check-In
- Upon approval, users receive property location and check-in instructions.
- QR-based check-in may be mandatory.
- Check-in is considered valid only after successful QR verification and owner confirmation.
6. Payments & Rent
- StayBix follows a strict “Pay at Visit” model.
- All rent payments are made directly to the property owner.
- StayBix does not collect rent or online payments from users.
- StayBix is not responsible for payment disputes between users and owners.
7. Cashback Rewards Program
StayBix may offer cashback rewards as a promotional benefit. Cashback is not guaranteed and is subject to strict eligibility conditions.
Cashback is issued only when all of the following conditions are met:
- User account is KYC verified.
- Booking is approved by the owner.
- User has successfully completed QR-based check-in.
- User has provided a valid UPI ID in their profile.
Cashback is credited only via UPI. No bank account, card, or cash payouts are supported.
StayBix reserves the right to approve, withhold, delay, or cancel cashback in case of fraud, misuse, or policy violation.
8. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Follow property-specific house rules.
- Use the property lawfully and responsibly.
- Avoid damage, nuisance, or illegal activity.
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
StayBix may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraudulent activity or fake KYC submissions
- Platform misuse or abuse
- Legal or law-enforcement requirements
Immediate action may be taken without prior notice if required for safety or compliance.
10. Account Deletion
- Users may request account deletion via official support.
- A 7-day grace period applies.
- Logging in during this period cancels the deletion request.
11. KYC Data Retention
- KYC data may be retained for up to 6 months after account deletion.
- Retention is strictly for legal, audit, or regulatory requirements.
- All retained data remains securely encrypted.
12. Privacy & Data Usage
- User data usage is governed by the StayBix Privacy Policy.
- Personal data is never sold to third parties.
- Data may be disclosed only when legally required.
13. Platform Updates
- StayBix may update features, policies, or terms.
- Updated terms will be published on the platform.
- Continued use implies acceptance of updated terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
StayBix shall not be liable for:
- User-owner disputes
- Property conditions or availability
- Booking rejections or cancellations
StayBix operates strictly as a facilitation platform.
15. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
